Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 29 September at 6:30 pm in the school hall.
You are invited to the PTA AGM on Thursday, 29th September at 6.30pm for a social time with snacks and drinks. We will have some time meet with old friends and new and business will start at 7pm. Come to hear a report on our activities over the last year as well as our plans for this year. We will also be recruiting for our vacant committee positions and volunteer leadership roles for activities in the spring:
-Chair: liaising with the PTA committee, school, and ensuring we are meeting our vision and objectives (to build community; and to support the school in serving the children and families through our fundraising).
-Treasurer: keeping accurate accounts (we submit these annually to the Charity Commission), providing floats for events, ensuring expenses and invoices are paid, paying in sponsorship, helping to oversee spending available to the school.
-Class Representative Coordinator: ensuring our amazing team of class reps is able to feed in their ideas, are kept up-to-date with progress running up to events and with opportunities for them and other parents and carers in their classes to support.
-Secretary: keeping an accurate record of PTA meetings.
-Sponsorship Co-ordinator: supporting the work of the PTA by drawing in funding from local businesses, particularly for the PTA calendar.
-Communications Co-ordinator (webmaster): keeping everyone informed with the go-to point for information on PTA events (https://philandjimspta.org)
