Sunday 19th May 2024 – 10am – 5pm

We are pleased to announce that the one-day football tournament Aristotle Cup is happening again Sunday 19th May at Phil & Jim’s. In this edition, our girls and boys will play against kids from St Aloysius (and St Barnabas, if spaces permitted) in six-a-side matches (EYFS and Y1 boys & girls together), five-a side matches (Y2-Y5, boys and girls separately) and seven-a-side (Y6, boys and girls separately) . There is a £2 inscription fee per child to play the tournament and there is a £1 entrance fee (only for adults that are not volunteers) for attending the tournament.

For organising each year’s teams and other event activities, we will need parents/carers’ help:

• Each team needs to have a coach (read coach role description in the LINK TO Aristotle-cup-rules24.pdf). They will assemble the team. All children who want to play need to follow coach instructions or contact him/her directly. The coach name will be indicated on this website. All the teams need to be confirmed by April 19.
• Each team needs to have a secretary that will be taking the player fees and sending them to the organisers. If there is not a secretary, the coach will need to perform this task.
• Each match will also need a volunteer referee.
• Other volunteers such as entrance and First Aid helpers

Therefore, if a team does not have a coach, this team will not play and if there are not enough volunteers for the other roles, the event can be cancelled or reduced. Children love to play with their class-mates, please help us!!!
